An explosive aroma of maraschino cherries, marzipan and cognac. This is umeshu for grownups. A great balance of sweetness and acidity tempered with a slight bitterness. Made from local fully ripened Benisashi ume (sour plums) – steeped in Kubota Shuzo sake with a little added sugar for balance.
