Old school atmospheric distillation and the absence of charcoal filtration make a bold statement with intense barley, nuts and cut hay on the nose. Straight up expect a masculine palate of pure barley, corn husk, earthiness and umami. Very easy to drink.

The addition of 1 cube of ice brings out the aniseed character.

This shochu brings back memories of some of our favourite standing bars in Osaka.
