Kubota Shuzo Kuranoyado 180ml
Kuranoyado translates as “The Brewery Inn” and is named after the famous manga of the same name. In turn the manga was inspired a visit to Kubota Shuzo by the author. An excellent example of a Junmai Ginjo made from Yamadanishiki rice grown just a stone’s throw from the brewery.
The nose is restrained with a subtle "pink lady apple" character. The palate is where this sake shines – pear, rockmelon, apple, white flowers and a touch of aniseed. The flavour touches every part of the palate and lingers ever so slightly.
Soft, smooth, with a certain purity this sake is too easy to drink. A real crowd pleaser.
