Senbazuru Daiginjo 720ml
This is a Daiginjo that breaks the rules. A faint aroma of freshly cut melon introduces a nectar like palate that is sweet upfront with playful acidity. A very complex sake that is best consumed between 15 - 20℃. Start a little cooler in the glass and let it develop. When it hits its target temperature somewhere just below 20℃, there is an explosion of flavour across the width and breadth of the palate, savoury n' sweet melon. The body is fuller than expected for a daiginjo and drinks well at the same temperature suited to a big red wine.
A truly outstanding session daiginjo that has won 18 Gold Medals at the most prestigious sake competition - Zenkoku Shinshu Kampyoukai by Japan's National Research Institute of Brewing.
