Senbazuru Junmaishu 720ml
One of our favourite junmai's. Junmai sake is never about the aroma, although the herbal steamed rice characters of this junmai are enticing. Best enjoyed in a traditional ochoko or guinomi (not a wine glass), this sake is earthy, smooth and clean with a rich creamy upfront palate that treads the line between savoury and sweet.
The sweetspot for this sake is 15-25C. Let the sake warm in the glass and be rewarded with a pure expression of the rice this sake was brewed from.
When served hot this sake has increased umami and savoury characters.
