Apertif or digestive

Ume are the fruit of Prunus Mume tree and belong to the plum/apricot family. The sour and astringent fruit lend themselves well to be steeped in alcohol which is then sweetened with sugar. We have carefully chosen a selection of umeshu that are rich in flavour and cover a spectrum of sweet to dry.
