Yamamoto Night Traveller Gin 700ml

Craft gin by Yamamoto san based on sake kasu with over 30 botanicals from Japan and around the world. Local botanicals from Akita Prefecture: Balloon flower, chamomile, Akita cedar leaf, Hiyama tea, apple and Japanese parsley. Botanicals from the world: Juniper berries, coriander,cinnamon, lemon peel, lemongrass, lemon balm, orange peel, orange flower, peppermint, eucalyptus, cassis and more.

Night Traveller is made on a base of Kasutori Shochu distilled in house with a clear and distinct ginjo character. As you can imagine with so many botanicals the palate is complex yet strangely balanced. One sip delivers a royal flush of citrus, the next sip juniper, aniseed and a touch of cedar followed by a touch of mint and cassis. Sit and sip over a big cube of ice or make into a Dirty Martini - triple the olives thanks.
